You have not installed the SSL certificate in your browser.

In firefox, go to Options, security, SSL, certificates and import the JMeter certificate.

Tried but not working:

An error occurred during a connection to website. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Make sure you are using a new instance of Firefox (New Installation) and not to try opening the site without proxy.

Additionally, i would suggest you the manual recording method, which is easy to understand and is more efficient.

Please use the Manual Recording method, instead of the method you're currently using.
